i know...when I first read it, I thought it said it was coming out in 2008. I didn't realize it's not coming out in 2009 until after I made the thread. I'm hyped, anyway. The concept sounds tight as shit to me.

just two more short years wink.gif cool.gif

went to see it last night and errrmmmm. it's beautifully done but the story is so predictable/ filled with cliches it gets unintentionally funny.

but yeah, the ticket was worth it for the 3d shit alone. wouldn't mind a trip to pandora

guys i'm not alone.

so yea. i'll be going to watch it again in about 3hours. this time in 3D.

overall.... go see this movie, you'll have to watch real close to see when they switch from real people to CG.

so now that i've seen it in 3D i've go to say, that this is the most eye watering, visual delicious shit ever in life.

yo like this ain't no cheap palour trick one oe two 3D stuff, their are parts where you'd flinch your head or try to swat stuff from infront of you.

if you're a tech head you'll be wowing at every new shot.

i really can't put much more into words what this movie looks like. go see, and go see it in 3D, it's worth it.

Not overly enthused about it, but I may see it in IMAX with my pops (HUGE sci-fi junkie) just for the effects.

Dope flick. Excellent story, visuals, and acting. Looking forward to seeing more of Sam Worthington in the future (Clash of the Titans), but Zoe Saldana was off the chain in this movie. The colonel was pretty hard in the story as well.

Only small thing though, I would have thought they would have gone into more of why the main character's twin brother died.

Yup. And they were obviously going for a comparison to the English coming to the Americas...got really predictable I thought.

Finally got to see it in 3D (had been sold out for over a week!).

Predictable story really, but fantastically delivered.

3D was, well, OUT OF THIS WORLD! After a few minutes, you forget all about it and become emersed in the experience.

This will easily make its money back, and dare I say it, match Titanic. The amount of girls I saw at the viewing, couple with the comments most of them were making at the end, makes me believe this.

I will be watching it again, when I can book another ticket. thumbsup.gif

I personally thought the Na'vi was a cross between Africans and Native Americans personally.
