I hear ya. For me, it's one of the shows that I watch all the time but it's mostly out of habit. I know what to expect now. There are usually at least 5 dope episodes per volume so that usually keeps my interest. but i'll try to hold off on the bashing until mid-season

Im hoping they get some direction and stop killing off black characters.

As long as The Haitian is in effect, all is right with the world.

They cut down the number of episodes by like 7 or so. They said it was to make less filler shows and keep the story tight.
I will watch tonight

know, from the looks of it, we're trying to save the economy.
the amount of product placements and the the constant commercial interruptions were really distracting.

the carnival crew are an interesting bunch. dude with the knives is ill. Samuel could turn out to be a real ill character (that dude is a good actor, too) their storyline might even give Hiro a decent story line.
speaking of Hiro...are we ever going to see that future bad-ass Hiro dressed in black?
Sylar is still that dude. "bye, Roy"
Claire didn't do anything to really annoy me, so that's a plus
I like that Peter has some sort of normalcy being a paramedic but that ain't gonna last long
but yeah, I really enjoyed the premiere

Fam....EVERYONE was on point in this premier. I was in awe the entire time. There was not one moment of bullshit in this shit. The back and forth between Parkman and Sylar.....priceless. The duel between Peter and Darth Maul......woooooooooooooow. The way Tracie seems to be falling for ol boy. Yall peep that? My show is BACK!!!!

Claire's lesbian-ish college interaction is interesting..
Deaf color sound bitch is the usual assfuck from the Heroes' writers.. stop.. there are enough fucking characters..
I have to say, Petrelli is working well this season.. I like his arc..

I missed the last 5 min...did something happen to Parkman after Sylar tricked him?
the deaf woman doesn't seem to be all the interesting at the moment. it looks like she and Peter are going to become each other's love interest. he's probably going to have to save her from Samuel later in the season.
Question about Samuel...did he say that he discovered that he had powers when he felt himself moving the earth one day or something like that? also, do we know what the compass is for yet?
HRG is about to get his Brett Favre on and go back into the protecting Claire business. I'm so glad that her roommate only lasted one episode. that bitch was annoying. Claire's new buddy is starting to become annoying also but in a different way

The turn is gradual, but Parkman is slipping.

nah, i missed that. but yeah, Parkman (and all the heroes) should know that he can't live that regular life forever. we'll see just how deep into the darkside he goes. It's probably going to come to a point where he has no choice but to let Sylar out...they may even have to team up together on a mission.

Heroes is dead in the water right now barring some sort of DVR/Live Rating revolution..
8pm on NBC, and you are only drawing a 2.3 on the Nielsen? wow.. if we get a full season this year, ill be surprised.. hope it picks up.. otherwise - enjoy the last episodes of the show.

that really sucks because it seems to be more focused now and, like you said, promising. Maybe SyFy channel can pick it up

Not everyone has those dumb ass ratings boxes in their home. It's no clear way for NBC to see who's really watching their shows.

NBC could give a shit about ratings as long as advertisers' checks clear. Unfortunately.. Heroes is getting fucking annihilated by House and CBS's comedy lineup, and big corporations are choosing those margins over NBC's programming.
the odds of Heroes gaining an additional 100% viewership amongst those families without Nielsen boxes, and House, etc gaining 0 to level the playing field - is not even fathomable.
Heroes is really getting destroyed. This is a show that lost 13% of its viewership OVERNIGHT due to Tim Kring thinking Kristen Bell's character (which was easily one of the best on the show) wasnt working and writing her off the show.
Its a shame because the end of season 3 and this season so far have been showing promise.

good news is... Heroes maintained its viewership from last week with a 2.3. At least its not slipping.
Bad news is.. it got fucking annihilated in its time slot.. Heroes barely beat the CW's One Tree Hill..
By comparison.. Heroes did roughly 5 million viewers.. where House had 13 million, and Dancing with the Stars had 17 million...
NBC is in a predicament here.. they either need to move Heroes to a different timeslot.. Tues/Weds would be less competitive.. move it to Sci-Fi and rebrand the show with lesser-name talent, free themselves of the heavy contracts of Quinto/Pantierre.. or cancel the show... the odds of advertisers sticking with a serialized drama that is getting doubled and tripled in viewership by cheaper shows are becoming more and more remote.
