I'm not gonna lie. This game is soooooooo sick n insane it ain't even right they put this sh*t out. The controls are tight, the moves are devastating, and the environments you fight in are so disturbing some pepole may want to sit this mufucka out. Man i dig those uncut-notfornoweakazzmufuckas- type of games What i don't like is how they bite and take so many things from god of war that's is laughable, it's like these foos had no shame when they were creating this
The game does have a few originality perks though, unholy and holy levels. Throughout the game you can choose to punish or absolve enemies besides collect their souls, the more u punish them, the more your unholy meter goes up, thus the more skills, combos, and power of your grim Reaper Scythe icreases. You absolve them...your holy meter goes up, and more cross attack combos and strength increases
Regardless of the deliberate biting, ...what counts is that this game is fun as hell (no pun intended) and twisted, twisted as in sick as you journey through the nine circles of hell offing demons and other underworld creatures. The developers really hold no bars in portraying their vision of hell from the unbaptized babies in limbo to the torturing of other souls in hell. The story is based upon the Divine comedy poem, for those who want this broken down about the story....
This my rough interpetation of it
Game takes place back in Medieval times and You play as dante. Dude made a oath to his wifey (beatrice) to "hault all pleasures of the flesh (aka gettin some cut up)" until he returns from his crusade. Upon the crusade some thousand prisoners were captured and the crusade was put to a hault, but the prisoners were still captured. So dante and his squad are waiting around for word from the king when this one slave girl offers him some cookies if he lets her and her brother go..............................................................................
......................................................................So shortly after he breaks her off the , the prisoners get slaughtered and he returns home. His pops is dead. His chick is murdered and her soul is taken by Lucifer. What Dante didn't know is that she cut a deal with the devil that he would uphold his promise, well puzzy is powerful and he broke his promise, so now he travels to hell to free her. The story changes as you fight and you learn more, but there is a big twist at the end.
One other thing that adds replay to this game is that they are adding a Co-op section to this game in April. You and 1 other person team up and fight off as many demons as you can in waves to see how long you survive. The maps and enemies will be customizable by other players as they can upload them to the server for other players to download. This content will be called the "The trials of St. Lucia" The game is hot, disregard the reviews and try it out if you got a moment.
