I did the whole game store credit as well. I only ended up paying $28 bucks for it. I just couldn't fathom paying $60 for any game off tops. I still have yet to play it, but my students have and say that it's pretty bloody violent.

i played it for about a good 2 hours and this game is soooo illl, Waayyyy over the top, epic and VERY cinematic. The first 20 minutes of playing this had my jaw dropped like.....dammnnnnnnnnnn this shit is like a movie and BETTER. It's crazy how this game is in Hi-Def now, ran this on 1080p and its CRAZY, i can only imagine how this game sounds in surround sound, if you have a ps3 YOUR REASON FOR BUYING IT HAS BEEN SOLIDIFIED!!!!

Yeah, I played the demo for this on the older style TV it looked awesome on that. I just got a 46' + surround sound setup. I figure I've gotta clean up my living room before I put it on for the first time. And have a towel on standby, assuming that I'll be foaming at the mouth...

Got this shit on a projector....whoooooooooooo buddy. So far I've killed Gaia, Cronos, Hermes, Poseidon, Hercules, Hades, Hephaestus, and Hera. This SHIT is AWESOME!!!


Cronos is by far the biggest boss in game history that I've played since I've been a gamer. You have to beat his ass in SHIFTS!! Aint shit fucking with this game. Seriously. And I know full well I got a grip of enemies to go. Kratos doesn't give a shit about SHIT in this game. You can almost feel this dude getting more and more angry as you rip through folks. You take that shit to work with you ready to snap on co-workers. It's that serious. EVERYONE he comes across....DIES!! I don't give a fuck if it's a cup, it DIES!!! Skrait up. He aint fucking around.

Kratos just murks every ni99a he comes across in this game, whats funny is that he'll murk someones brotha, daughter or whoever and they won't know how such and such got killed and he'll stand right there and still talk smack like he ain't even do it

all the weapons on this game is ill, only one i dont use to much is that damn nemesis whip, reminds me of that weapon from ninja gaiden

this game is a 9/9.5/10 in my book, why couldn't they give this shit cooperative multiplayer? I love dantes inferno, and this game shits on it, but got damn this game would have sick replay value if they did like dante and added a cooperative combat arena, i hope they add it in the future.

nemesis whip is nice once its maxed out. that was the main weapon i used on zeus. fuck multiplayer though lol. every ill game doesn't need that shit. personally, i don't fuck with it at all. single player experience >>> multiplayer clusterfucks

my birthday is Saturday, I'm torn between this or Uncharted 2. Uncharted was the first ps3 game I ever played back in January and it just blew me away, I loved it. At the same time the first two God of Wars were awesome as well.

Depends on what you are looking for more. Uncharted is a bit more "thinking". Both are epic. Uncharted has more platforming puzzles (I'm assuming).

I just finished Uncharted 2. I'm going back and doing the GoW trilogy (GoW, GoW2, GoW Chains of Olympus) before I play GoW 3.

I still bought Heavy Rain on release date but school got me too busy to dedicate the time needed.

PS3 is really owning this year!

Didn't like the ending one bit. Fighting Pasaedon was more cenematic than fighting Zues. I'm kinda disappointed with that long drawn out ending. Plus.....I haven't been sent instructions on how to install my Chaos skin.

takes a few days to get the skin bruh, i did the code voucher thing on a saturday and got it back wednesday at like 9pm. I heard theres more skins beside the phantom of chaos and fear skins but you had to have the ultimate edition to get them.

Am playing through on Chaos setting at present, but am stuck on the flamming 3 headed dog with the psycho goats (when there are 2 of them on screen, as well as the exploding dogs... Man it's IMPOSSIBLE!!!)

Most brutal death of the game? Poseidon. Easily.

Followed by Hercules.

This is easily my favourite game at present. I must say the Zeus battles were quite underwhelming for me, was expecting a bit more. And the ending was bittersweet for me too. But it wrapped things up nicely, and even leaves a bit of a surprise...
